It’s another year which brings about another new season of change. Atleast the intention of change is there anyway. Some people lose motivation right away because the thought of starting out new and falling right back into the old ways within the first month bothers them. Truth is, yes it’s true half the time but who says we should stop trying to be better? I absolutely love dreaming up goals, creating new vision and putting a focus on things I want to improve on. If I fail or not live up to my goals, I start again and keep trying.
Personal Changes // I want to be intentionally present in everything that I do. I either let the past affect me or let the future consume me. I want to be more fearless in everything that I do. I get affected by peoples thoughts of me and it used to be so bad to the point that it consumed me. I am a people pleaser at heart and trying to overcome other peoples opinion and avoiding hurting peoples feelings is truly a struggle.
Professional Changes// I do plan to make some fun changes in 2019 for my blog as well as diving into the world of videos. The reason for this is I feel like there’s never a guarantee with the Instagram platform being available forever. We’ve seen it all happen with other platforms before. I also want to document more videos of Gabriel growing up. I feel like there’s so many photos of him but not enough videos. That being said, I want to commit more days to posting at least once a week on here. I want to hear your thoughts and what you would enjoy seeing in videos and posts. Real life moments? Talk throughs? Topics on Mom things and parenting stuff? I can’t wait to dive into it all.
With all this being said, you’re probably wondering how I’m going to implement this all into my life. First, I’m going to write it down as a constant reminder for change. I am going to pencil content in a schedule, write my ideas and discuss my ideas with people who I like to call my support. Let’s face it, if I don’t write things down, I will forget.
Lastly, before I end this post, I wanted to thank all of you who have supported me on my blogging journey. Whether you have taken my photos, entered my giveaways, shared some tips and tricks, engaged with me through posts, just THANK YOU. My blog wouldn’t exist without you. Cheers to the New Year and new changes! Love you guys!
